How to Play The Toyota Corolla 2018 2017 Edition
Toyota announced a few months ago that the 2019 Corolla would get a new, more modern version, the Toyota Highlander.
The highlander is a two-door hatchback that looks to be a direct response to the Toyota Corollas and is said to be priced around $70,000.
The 2017 Corolla was launched in early 2019, and its successor was unveiled at the 2016 Tokyo Motor Show.
We already knew that the new model would get some improvements, but we didn’t know just how big the change would be.
Toyota says that the Toyota Highlander will have a new design and a new interior, but it doesn’t say much about how the new car will look.
The Highlander will be powered by a 1.6-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged inline-six, with a claimed range of 100 miles (161 kilometers).
The 2018 Corolla, on the other hand, is said “to have more fuel economy and range.”
The new Corolla will have more space, too, as it will have “a slightly larger trunk,” according to Toyota.
That means it will come with two smaller rear seats, as well as a bigger trunk and a more generous front seat, as the company says.
In all, the 2019 Toyota Highlander looks to have a much larger trunk than the 2017 Corolla, with room for up to 18.7 cubic feet (2,000 cubic centimeters) of storage, including a folding back seat.
It’s also said to come with a “new-look interior with a new-look instrument panel and LED lighting.”
We’ll have more details on the 2019 Highlander as they become available, but for now, Toyota has released a teaser image of the new Corollan.
The vehicle will be available in two trim levels: Premium and Sport.
The Premium version comes with a six-speed manual transmission, while the Sport version will come equipped with a seven-speed automatic transmission.
The price is set at $90,000, which is more than half of the $140,000 starting price for the 2017 model.
The new Toyota Highlander is expected to arrive sometime in 2019, which means it should be in store by late April.
