— The Rams and Eagles met again on Sunday.
The Rams scored touchdowns on two field goals in the second half.
The Eagles made a pair of clutch field goals to win a game in overtime and earn a spot in the NFC Championship Game.
And yet, the two teams came away with very different results.
Here are five takeaways from the Rams-Vikings game.1.
They are still in the playoff huntEven if the Rams don’t clinch the No. 2 seed in the West, they still have a realistic chance to make the playoffs this season.
The Seahawks, 49ers and Giants are all outside the top four seeds.
The Cowboys, Panthers and Cardinals all enter the playoffs with a combined record of 1-5.
The Jaguars, Titans and Raiders also enter with a record of 3-6.2.

Their defense has been goodThe Rams have been one of the best defenses in football over the past three seasons.
Their top pass-rushers have been among the league leaders in sacks, tackles for loss, QB hits and hurries.
The team is led by Jared Goff, a fifth-round pick out of USC who will be entering his third season.
Goff was a first-team All-Pro in his first season.
The Rams’ defense also is ranked No. 3 in the NFL in sacks and No. 5 in pass-rush productivity, per Pro Football Focus.
Their pass-rushing productivity of 20.4 percent ranks third among NFL defenses.4.
The offense is goodThe defense has not been able to find an answer for Carson Wentz, who has missed the past two games with a concussion.
But Jared Goff and the offense have been electric.
Goff has thrown for 4,072 yards, 27 touchdowns and six interceptions.
The rookie has been very efficient on deep passes, with four touchdowns and zero interceptions.
He’s also averaged nearly four yards per carry.
Goff’s touchdown-to-interception ratio is 2-2, which is the best in the league.5.

The Raiders lost their best player in 2017The Raiders are one team that has not won the AFC West since 2006, when the team finished 10-6 and missed the playoffs.
The next year, the Raiders won the division and went on to win the Super Bowl.
But they lost star running back Latavius Murray in free agency and didn’t bring back Latawon Murray until 2021.
The franchise also lost the franchise quarterback who led the team to a Super Bowl appearance in 2016.
Murray’s departure led to the departures of head coach Jack Del Rio and general manager Reggie McKenzie.
The Raiders finished the season 11-5, with a win over the 49ers on the way to a first round bye.
However, they struggled in the playoffs, going 0-5 in the three games after the bye.
