What to know about the Toyota Corolla 2005 and Prius Prime, based on official leaks
Toyota has just announced its next generation Corolla, the Toyota Camry XSE, based off of the Toyota Prius prime.
We already know it will feature a 4-cylinder, 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, but we have yet to see an official model.
While we are waiting for an official listing, the company released the official pictures from the Corolla’s official website.
The car has a 4.0-liter engine with a maximum output of 325 horsepower, but the official spec sheet says the engine will be limited to 330 horsepower and 335 lb.-ft. of torque.
It also features LED daytime running lights, fog lights, and blind spot monitoring.
The interior will also feature an 8-inch touchscreen display, as well as an audio system, a navigation system, and a rearview camera.
In addition, Toyota said that the Camry will feature an electric motor, which is also the same one that powers the Prius.
It will be available in two models, the base model and the premium version, with pricing starting at $25,995.
Toyota has not released any official specifications yet.
Toyota says it will launch the Corollas in the third quarter of 2018.
