Toyota reveals new car for 2014

Toyota has revealed a new crossover SUV in Japan, the Toyota Touareg.

The Toyota Touandes will be available from September 2014.

The Touaregs will be priced at around €20,000 ($23,000).

It’s unclear how this will differ from the Touaregi, which was revealed at the Paris Motor Show in June 2014. 

Toyota Touareglas will also come with a new infotainment system and a range of upgrades.

The company says the Touandgs will “enable customers to get to know their vehicle in a new way”.

“Our new Touaregelas are an innovative, innovative vehicle designed for today’s busy lifestyle.

With an eye towards improving comfort, safety and mobility, they are also designed to deliver a high-quality experience for passengers and drivers alike,” said Takahiro Toyoda, Toyota Group President, Japan.

Toyotas Touarege and Touarega are both sold in Japan and other countries.

It will be sold exclusively in Japan for 2014 and is a big step forward in the evolution of the vehicle,” said Toyota of Japan in a statement.

According to the company, the Touarenes will feature an “all-new all-wheel drive” that “provides greater handling stability, agility and responsiveness” as well as an “optimised ride and handling system”. “

This year marks a new milestone in our vision for mobility, as we enter the age of mobility-connected vehicles,” said Toyotas senior vice president for automotive innovation, Toshihiro Kondo, in a news release.

According to the company, the Touarenes will feature an “all-new all-wheel drive” that “provides greater handling stability, agility and responsiveness” as well as an “optimised ride and handling system”.

Toyonas Touarens will also be available in “select markets” including Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, the UK and the US.

In addition, the new Touarenses will be offered in “new markets and countries”, Toyota added. 

Toyota also says it will offer a range “of other new vehicle concepts, including a new range of sports utility vehicles” for the new year.

At the Tokyo Motor Show earlier this year, Toyota unveiled a range-topping crossover SUV, the Mitsubishi Outlander, which had a price tag of $45,000.

It also unveiled a new hatchback SUV, Mitsubishis Outlander X, for 2015.
